School Description/Info

Naugatuck High School (NHS) is a public school serving students in grades 9 through 12, located at 543 Rubber Avenue in Naugatuck, Conn. Janice Saam is Naugatuck High’s principal, while Thomas Pompei serves as the school’s athletic director.

Within the school’s vision/mission statement noted on its web site, Naugatuck High School “believes that all students have the right to learn in a safe and nurturing environment conducive to maximizing their potential to succeed in our diverse, technological, and interdependent world. To this end, we join with the home and community to cultivate the skills, talents, and attitudes that will prepare our students not only to continue their education beyond high school, but also become informed responsible citizens.”
